Wet / Dry cleaning questions

Hey i havent cleaned my wet dry since i bought it , i was wondering if i should replace the filter pads that the water trickles over , or will that cause a cycle , also i havent cleaned my bio balls , im guessing i should do this also , i look at my pad today and there are 2 brown spots where the water trickles through..... should it be changed ?? and also should i clean my over flow box??

Yes change the pad about every month or so but never clean your BIO ball they hold all your bacteria needed to cycle your tank...

yes change the pads about one month or so and you can also rinse them out. as for the bio balls ive read you should rinse 1/4th of them in salt water every 3 months. just check out some fish sites and read up on it. dont take our word as gold.
