Wet Dry or Refugium

I am looking at purchasing either a wet dry or a refugium. Both are rated at 150 gal and I have a 120. I will also have one canister and full of live rock. Currently I have 2 canisters and 2 hang ons, live rock is stocked full. But I am going to be going reef soon.
Now, both the refuge and wet dry come with skimmers and all need parts, plumbing and pumps. Question is, how easy are these two to set up and maintain. The refuge looks pretty difficult, although the wet dry is about $50 more. Any thoughts on what would be best for a reef and a rookie to those types of filtration.

Go with the refequim if you are going reef..... The wet drys can be nitrate factories while refeguims are just the opposite if properly lit and stocked with macro algea they can bring down nitrites signifigently
