Sharks do not care about intensity or spectrum of lighting. However your tank does. You don't want to spend too much on lighting (halides) and have to worry about them changing spectrum and growing algae. In reality a few common light bulbs would suit your sharks just fine. In fact some prefer darker conditions as they are nocturnal feeders.
IMO, you should look into cheap FLO lighting, and choose bulbs that light your tank nicely. I.E. half of the bulbs daylight (white) and the other half actinic (blue).
By the way, I was giving slick ####. Yes I have/do keep sharks:)
