what 2 tangs ?

Need advice I would like "2 tangs" for my 125.. 72" long tank
1st fish is going to be a hippo. Next tang has to be Non-Aggressive and not get to big any thoughts whats compatible? Also they are going to be together in a 30 gallon qt
for 6 weeks 1"-2" tangs Thanks

long nosed butterflies are great btw......personally i like purple tangs but they can be a little spendy.....you could also go with a yellow....

Yes they are! Hippos are just as beautiful> to me.
Yellow/purple are good to but they are semi-aggressive right?
I want a tang known to be friendly like the hippos/long nosed
is their a better choice that's good for my size tank?

I like Purple Tangs best. Aggressiveness is hit/miss with all Tangs. My Purple is very docile.
Yellow Tangs are just too common in my opinion. I look at a Yellow Tang and I see a common goldfish.

Kole Yellow Eye Tang, Convict Tang, Vlamingii Tang (oh wait this one gets too big), Bristletooth Tomini Tang, Mimic Eibli Tang (my favorite, gets 12" though), Two Spot Bristletooth Tang

I have a purple and blue hippo in my 150. They get along fine although I did add them at the same time.

i dig on yellow tangs. i know they're common, but i think they are beautiful fish and great additions to most tanks.

oh, btw, i have a hippo and yellow together and they get along fine. if anything, the hippo is the one that steps on toes when new fish get introduced.

I absolutely agree with that. My hippo is definately the one that bosses the other fish around. I have a Tomini that is awesome. He minds his own business and is constantly picking at the rock for any filament algae.
My vote would be for the Hippo and Tomini.
I would recommend that you get a hippo slightly smaller than the tomini.

never seen tomini,achillis,or half the tangs mentioned? I'd love to see some pics if available? Thanks everyone for your input! I love the photo of the yellow belly hippo> amazing!

just check out the fish section on this site they have a lot of the tangs mention above such as the achilles, my personal fav

White cheek? have to look that one up geeze how many are their?I usually only see yellow, pbt,hippo,yellow belly,purple at my lfs but thanks I will look those up
