What a mess I had tonight

My daughter was chasing the 2 yr old i watch into the dinning room today, and the the somehow pulled the blind off the sliding glass door, and popped a nice little hole in the side of my 12 gal nano cube. Have you every tried to corell a two yr old, plug a hole with your finger, and try to get a bucket and syphon hose going all at the same time. I got both the fish, and all the corals into the bucket, and saved about 5 gal of water.
Lucky I had an empty 10 gal on the back porch, and 5 gal of water i was going to do a water change with. so far every thing is still alive, but I now have to throw a 160 dollar tank in the garbage.

have to disagree...they may be tricky but nanos are the best. mines been up for almost a year now. only the best and most dedicated can maintain them thats all
anyway, im sorry for your accident. that sounds like my worst nightmare.

Child's play! Try dealing with a 180 gallon after a return hose pops off the t-valve and empties your 30 gallon sump all over your living room, while you're upstairs blissfully taking a shower!
