it looks really cool and all but the most you ever see of it is about 10 very thin spikes sticking out of the sand. it stays under all the time.

Ah help from the other side. He believes it to be a sea mouse.

uuuhhhh.... its very close..... i think i need to find it again and take more pics. closeups and the under side of it....but im with you i think thats it.
where would you get something like that?

if found a great little store here in town and was talking to them. he had one in stock.... its a heart urchin

he has a little damage from exposure to the sun during the move but i think he will be fine.
