looks like a purple queen to me too, ive never heard of anyone being able to keep them alive long term

Both of those are true, and not mayn people have had success keeping them in tanks..They do better in pairs though

Is your tank large enough to support a pair? There is 4 in lfs and have been there for several months, I guess he tries to talk every customer out of getting 1 and since they get pretty large and 2 is expensive! So if my lfs can keep his alive in his meager small tank, maybe you could also?
