What are the chances of this happening?!

Come to find out that I have this in my tire... A large peice of metal wedged right in the thread of my tire.

If that didnt make me mad enough, I figured that I could maybe get it patched or what not. So I jacked up my car and took the wheel and tire to the shop to get it repaired. Come to find out that It can not be patched, and I have to get a new tire! A $260 tire because someone left THIS in the middle of the road.

As mad as I am about having to get a new tire, I cant help but laugh at the chances of something like this happening. I figured the only way that this could have happened is that I ran over it with my front tire, tossing the wrench in the air, and had it PERFECTLY angled the right way to where it stuck itself in my rear tire.

lol, that happened to my grampa! he drove over the railroad tracks and it was sticking out evidently....he still has it :yes:
