What are the little dancing white hairs?

I have some new residents in my tank that I have seen, some times I see 1 little white hair like thing moving around like a cats tail. other times I see 2 or 3 little hairs and then they pull back into the rock.
Any clue what these things are, and are they friend or foe? :jumping:

they could be larval pipe or grass fish that hitchhikes on the rock. but we won't know until they get bigger.

i am thinking spagetti (sp) worms i have them in my live sand, and also in the live rock of my tank, see the hitchhikers thread in the archives
