what are the problems that come with high calcium levels?

say if your calcium level is 500, or even 600 or higher. is it deadly to fish and corals?

I don't know for certain if high calcium levels can become toxic themselves...but elevated calcium can adversely affect PH and alkalinity...which could contribute to problems that may result in death.
Plus elevated calcium levels can contribute to equipment problems. Other than that I've got little information on the dangers of high calcium levels. Why...are your calcium levels that high...and if so are there associated problems?

my calcium levels are at about 525 right now, and the corlas arent opening up as nice. so i fugured that may be the problem
