What are these feather duster looking things?

I need some help identifying these nuisance items. They must have caught a ride from some coral I got about 2 months ago. They are about 1 inch to 2 inches long and look like feather dusters. They are white and of course smaller than feather dusters. They are multilying quickly and the worm part looks creepy. I assume these guys are bad? How do I get rid of them short of pulling all my rock and giving them a good scrubbing? I can possibly get a pic if needed.
Thanks
Paul

I liked them at first, but you are seeing the "groomed down" pics. I took out some of the rock, scrubbed the guys off with a paint brush and placed the rocks back. I should have taken a pic before. The tops are OK, but the wormy bottoms are a little creepy. At least to have over 100 of them. No exageration, at least that many. I have a 125 gal tank, but they are mostly in one quarter of the tank.
Do you know what might like to nibble on them to keep them groomed down a bit?
