what are these worms?

was looking at my sand really closely when i saw these really really skinny worms comming out of my sand every where stretching in and out. They are so skinny i cant get a good picture. I also have a picture of this i dont know if the two are linked cause they arent streching out of this. Please help they are really scary looking. I know they cant be good

Hi there. Are those bad? I heard that this is a good think cause they bring oxygen down through the sand bed. Please let me know they are really freaky looking.

I beleive they're just harmless filter feeders.
