these guys are in my aquarium. the brown guy is under a rock with a couple others that look like him, and the long white guy seems to break himself off every once in a while.

assuming bristle worms are no good? the other thing seems to make itself a sand pile by cleaning out the live rock and pulling it around him, and actually made a sort of shell from the live rock to the bottom of the glass of the fish tank. there are lot of smaller versions of him sticking out of the live rock that all seem to clean up a little here and there.

looked up hydroid jelyfish, and although i was wondering what they were, im more intersted in the long white tentacle things. unless they are a big grandaddy of course.

thanks on the spaghetti worm hint, i did a few searches and that's what it looks like. on those sites though they also say bristle worms are not a good idea for tanks, they feed on other inverts?

Having accidentally put a hand on one in the wild - I can tell you that it's painful, it's itchy, it's really totally evil. Don't touch em.
