Hi!
I've been through all the magnets (under $25 anyways) what is the best cleaner magnet? What are you using? Like it? Love it? Hate it?

Those are nice magnet cleaners. I just got a large mag float and it seems to be doing a great job for me so far. I assume you have tried this brand. You didn't like it?

i want to get one, but the price is so high compared to those pads, can you guys move the magnet to the left or right side of the tank without sticking your hand there?

Yes the mag float is great for that. It floats so when you change sides of the tank it does not fall the the bottom.

the one i have is like 10 bucks, i think the 125 or 150 i forget. It works fine for that size tank. Never have to stick my hand to clean.
hey SaltH20 whats your compaint on Mag Floats???

I just don't think the mag float holds as tight and it doesn't pull the correline off or the baked on algae (from the MH's)
I just spoke with mark, owner of the Hammerhead magnet and he was great. Will be setting me with the hammerhead magnet for my 150 gallon tank and will be supplying a few pads to work on my 55 gallon.

hammers cost too much, 50 bucks for an something that scrubs only algae, personally id rather just stick my hand in there twice a week and clean it by hand with a 5 dollar sponge

my friend doesnt even need a algae scrubber anymore since he got his lawnmower blenny to take care of it, i guess the only thing he'll need to take care of is coraline algae
