Alrighty... I'm attaching two pics here of both a snail, and a slug/nudi of some sort... The slug/nudi was almost impossible to spot, but with my red flashlight funtime tonight I spotted him gallavanting about my LR. Notice he's tannish/brown, and has two clear antennae, as well as a lot of nubby protrusions making him look a bit like plant matter. Snail has a purple/green shell and is relatively flat/rounded - and FAST.
:help:
Thanks!!
Ian

Aeolidiella stephanieae - apparently an aiptasia eater! :cheer:
Unless someone can tell me he's something else he's my new best buddy!

Thanks,
Ian

They're algae eaters, right? ***)
I have been one lucky dude hitchhiker-wise so far.. Peanut worms, Aeolidiella stephanieae nudi (it seems, i like to wait for more posters
) , vermetid worms, and a stomatella snail (again, it seems!).
I've had but one aiptasia, and I am an outragouesly thorough observer.. He met a rather grisly demise.
Thanks!!!

Actually.. if I am right about the nudi - can anyone that agrees on the ID and knows about these tell me if my sebae is in any kind of peril? He has a rather protective anemone crab, but I know zilch about this critter.

When they run out of their food supply they croak... right? Most people pass them on to a fellow aquarist who needs thier services. Unless you have a lfs that can 'supply' you with aiptasia to keep the little bugger alive. ***)
