I like the books by Ted Dekker. For school last year I read The circle trilogy (Black, Red, and White), Thr3e, Blink, and Obsessed (I think thats what it was). I haven't read much this year yet, but I have Honors English I next semester.

I doubt we're going to read it either. I don't have English until next semester because our school system is on a block schedule, so we have 4, 1 1/2 hr. classes a day and switch after a few weeks after Christmas Break. I'll be in English next semester. I did have to read A Walk to Remember for English over the summer because I didn't know if I would have the first or second half of the year.

Where to start....well, with my job, I do a LOT of reading. Once your up at cruise altitude and you've got the aircraft on auto-pilot, what else are you supposed to do? Read a book. Lately, I have been reading a lot of saltwater books...go figure. I don't read a whole lot of fiction, I am just weird like that.

J.K. Rowling is also another fav. (all of the harry potters)
The green mile was an amazing book
The notebook was another amazing book
Jurassic park
OOHHHHH A book called "youth in revolt" and it's sequel "revolting youth" and another book called "frisco pigeon mambo" all by C. Payne. I love this author. The first two books are actually written in the form of a journal, and it's about a 14-year-old boy going through puberty, but with some really weird twists. The third book is about a group of pigeons that think they're humans... They're friggin hilarious!!!
Also, all of those classics... "dracula", "the painting of dorian grey", "the adventures of huckleberry finn", "the adventures of tom sawyer", "of mice and men", and a whole bunch others that i don't feel like typing.
i like to read...

LOL
Scary isn't it!!
My Favorite one by Stephen is The Stand.
Can read it over and over again.

I have read and own pretty much every book too. Have been collecting them since I was 16.
The Gunslinger Series was pretty good. Was pretty disappointed by the last one though.
Also Christopher Paolini is a good author. He is the one who wrote Eragon and Eldest. Started the first one at the ripe ole age of 16 and had it published by 19. NICE!!

I never got into Stephen King cause his books never had an anding. He "left it up to the imagination" of the reader. My thing is...if I had an imagination, I wouldn't be reading!!!
Koontz always finished his books. I haven't read a book in a couple of years, but up until then I read everything he wrote.
Oh!! And Chrismas shoes!! That now has a sequel called The Christmas Blessing that I just bought, but haven't had a chance to read yet...
