Which one are you using with great results.. The online store I use doesnt seem to be carrying Revolution anymore, which is what I used a year ago from my last vet, BUT they seem to have all the other ones! THANKS

actually if your pet has fleas the best thing to do is in this order.
spray the yard with an insectiside to kill them in the yard. * have to repeat in 7-10 days to kill eggs.
spray the inside carpet and furnature with an indorr sectiside to kill them of course same as above repeat 7-10 days.
and lastly to kill them from the pet THE BEST that I have found which isnt easy on cats is dawn and lather it up for 5+ minutes it will sufficate them on the pet and 7-10 days later repeat. watch for new signs of infestation if so repeat.
when you take a pet to the groomers a dip is a last on the list the first thing is a full strenght dawn bath to kill the fleas that are on them now and it wont hurt them or you to use it.

I use Bio-spot on my dogs and cats. My cats do not go outside but the dogs do. I have been using that for years and it works very well. It is not as costly as the vet meds.
My sister swears by Dawn dish soap as well.

Yeah, I guess if the animal is sensitive. I have never had issues with it with my pets.

advantix is toxic to cats. DO NOT USE ADVANTIX on your dogs if you have cats in the house. even if a cat LAYS down on the same PILLOW an advantix-treated dog was laying on, it can end up w/serious health problems.
Frontline is the best thing going right now for cats until the Vectra people come out with one. Vectra not only kills fleas and ticks but it alse REPELLS them so they don't even have to bite your animal in order for the insecticide to work. It also does something that none of the other products do; it repels mosquitos, so your animal has less of a chance of contracting heartwork disease as well.
Until Vectra makes one for cats (they claim they will come out with a product within the year), the animal hospitals at which I have been a veterinary technician all strongly recommend Frontline. It can be easily procured online, at your vet's office, or in a ny *****/petsmart w/a prescribing veterinarian.

I use Advantage on my cat for a number of years. Not once has she had fleas since using this product. Although on the expensive side (average $50- $60 for 4 treatment pack) but you can find some cheap online if you know where to look. Got mine for $30 online last month.

Been using a Hartz product for my dog for the last 2 months and so far so good. Only about 1/3 the price of Frontline and Advantix and I am pretty sure they make a cat formula as well.
