what brand of kalk do you use?

I use Kent Marine's Kalkwasser mix. 1tsp/1gal of RO water. Dosing with auto top-off system.

I do the same as Barracuda, Kents, RO/DI, 1 tsp/gal, auto topoff. I would like to try Mrs. Wages next, though. Significant $$ difference!

MAC - I though Mississippi Lime was Calcium oxide? Or is the Mississippi Quick Lime? I would love to have a source for Calcium oxide!!
I use agricultural Hydrated Lime aka Calcium hydroxide. I get a lot of precipitate so I have to use a lot more of it than the better stuff, but at $0.10 a pound I don't really care.

I drip Bal's Pickling Lime. I usually drip about 1 gallon per night after lights out.
