what brand skimmer?

What brand skimmer does everyone recommend here? I have to purchase one yet for my 300 gallon that should be arriving in about 3 weeks. I'm looking for one that cannot over flow?

Not if you have them set right......I mean if I were to turn my air dial all the way up....yeah....I'd get lots of water in the cup and eventually it would spill
BUT....if you know anything about skimmers, you have to set them so they foam....not pour water

Yes i used to have a red sea on my 125 gal and could never find that balance. It would run fine then for no reason the cup would overflow

I have the SWC 160 Cone Skimmer if the cup gets too full it will overflow internally into the skimmer. It will not go to the outside of the skimmer. If that is what you are asking. I used to have the Croal Life 125 it would overflow externally.

another option are Avast Marine skimmers too. theyre really well built and have similar designs

Easy 160 usually nominially treats a 160 gallon system - nominal mean medium to low bioload. You will see when you google it.
