probably more green as there is a tinge to it that is green under the light. It's your tank though, do whatever you want I'm tired of getting pissed off at these threads.

dont mean to make anyone mad. my mom says that its the same color that it was when she bought it. so, i mean, i told her what you guys have said. i guess she will just have to see it die or something. why the guy who sold it to her didnt tell her about the lighting requirements i dont know. he's a fellow reefer....unless he was just trying to make a sell.

it will look like its melting when its dying..if it does that pull it cause it can nuke the tank. Its just bleaced right now so its zooanthal(sp) expelled so its not making food from light..so maybe start spot feeding it some food to try and keep it a little healthier till you get little stronger lights or something. As for people who get mad of what others put in their tank I dont understand it. Just let them get mad

*edit* figured it out myself. The HL fixture has an individual reflector of sorts... 1 reflector with parabolic bends over each bulb. The PFO lights do not have individual reflectors...
Still, something seems fishy, they are too damn cheap lol.

*edit* figured it out myself. The HL fixture has an individual reflector of sorts... 1 reflector with parabolic bends over each bulb. The PFO lights do not have individual reflectors...

no they are not bends..they are each individual reflectors, it is a direct copy of a TEK light fixture. I have seen pics from people who already got them, they are cheap because they are discontinued. I will be getting mine on tuesday
