What camera are you using

What camera is everyone using and please post your single BEST photo and possibly list your camera settings for all of us that are new. I have a sony DSC-F717 with optical zoom, awesome camera but I simply can't figure out how to take a good tank photo. Here is my best one so far. Colors are washed really washed out and blurry

HP photosmart M307 3x optical zoom, 6.0 mm-18.0mm, 15x zoom, 3.2 MP, i have no clue what half that stuff means

Canon G5 for now....soon to be seriously upgraded. This is my current favorite in a larger file size to provide the detail it deserves. warning....large file size.....

Yup....yellow polyps. started as a single hitchhiker many moons ago and grew into a pest of a colony.
I seldom turn the pumps off for photos......now and then I have....but not normally. From time to time I'll use a tripod....depends on the situation. As I recall the posse was shot from a tripod but the crabs were hand held.

Im posting 2 shots to show a general AUTO setting and a MICRO setting.
Both with my 4 year old Kodak Easyshare DX 4330 3.1 mega pixels
Hand held with all tank lights on ( 14K HM ), no flash, room dark, resized and slightly adjusted with Photoshop program.

I was wondering about the settings also as far as iso, shutter speed, f, and so on does anyone have a clue or know a website that gives recomondations?
