What camera do you use?

I'm in the market for a new camera. My Samsung is headed for the garbage--it eats batteries (the non-rechargeable, hard to find, have to special order kind). Soooooo, I'm just wondering...what cameras are you people using to get the fabulous pics I've seen on this forum? Preferably ones under or around $400. Also, any advice on ones I should stay away from would be helpful too!

I shoot with an Olympus C-8080. Just a tab bit more than $400, but definately worth it!
I'm ready for DSLR...I'm trying to decide between Canon and the Olympus Evolt 500.
In the $400 range, I'd go with the Olympus C-7070. That's what I used before upgrading to the 8080.

i have a Panasonic DMC-FZ20 with Leica lenses. It is DSLR-like. I got it on sale because no one wants the silver body, there are cousins to it now in your price range. It works incredible for me, at some point I'll get some pics up.

I use the kodak z 612....really comfortable and takes overall good pics....best deal I could find for the money. I would like to go to slr but the prices are just crazy.

CANON POWERSHOT 2S IS.
I'm still learning how to use it, but it is a very capable camera.
