What can clean silicone off glass

Does anyone know of a product, like a 3m or something that I can put in a drill and buff out the edge of some glass that has a bit of silicone on it. I've run over and over it with a razor blade and it just isn't getting clean.

from my experience with silicone a sharp sharp razor is the only thing I know of other than harsh chemicals. I know you tried a razor but thats all I know of...

razor blade and mineral spirits does the trick. any type of buffing will usually just smear it.

I agree don't use a drill it will smear the silcone especially if you use a chemical to soften it you will have a bigger mess than you started with. Haven't used mineral spirits but I have used some automotive gasket remover and it worked well for removing the last little bit of residue that the razor has difficulty with.
