What can I do with this Wet/Dry? HELP PLEASE?

I just got this wet/dry filter from a guy locally for a really good deal and I am debating what to do with it??
It is rated for 75 gallons but I am only using it on my 29g.
I have about 20-28 pounds of live rock... will add more once i get some HOB stuff off my tank.

Should I use the Bio Balls or turn that section into a fuge with macro algae??? The macro algae would be in the area where the bio balls would be on the egg crate.... Will a light penetrate the acrylic enough to sustain the algae???
Any Suggestions???

Overkill is not a bad thing. More GPH is more gph. What kind of tank are you running FOWLER ? If so leave it and use the balls for sure IMO.

that is debateable. i use both wet/dry and fuge.
macro algae is very important.
if i had to chose between the two i would go with a fuge and macro algae. IMO of course.
