There are several low light inverts that you can put in their. All feather dusters, bubbles if you put them up high, most any polyps, zoonatheds(sp), ask a reputable LFS but MOST not ALL soft corals don't require tons of light. Although the more light the better they will grow. Just stay away from stoney corals and anenomes. You are running 2.4 watts per gallon. They say you should have at least 3 wpg. I am running 3.6W and you can see what I have. good Luck!

I was looking into something with the beauty of an open brain and other soft corals and leathers.

I have 2 36w PC and a 36" actinic blue on a 58g Oceanic. The tank has been up and running since the first of the year. So far there's Star Polyps, a red open brain, a colt, and a mushroom. Good growth on all the corals and good coralling growth.
The brain is the only hard coral so he was my test case about the 36w PC lighting. The brain is doing good, he looks health and is spreading nicely.
