what can i put in a 33g??

I curently have a 33g with a few smaller fish, some LR, and inverts...,I am planning on buying a +100g this summer but I want to have some aggressive fish......especially a lionfish....now could he handle being in the 33g and would it have any specific demands (LR...etc)?.........I am planning on setting the new bigger tank with some fish which are too big for my 33g such as tangs...etc.....whta do you think i should do with these two tanks??? You could keep a dwarf Lion in the 33, as well as a hawkfish, maroon clown.:happyfish

Anglers are starting to really grow on me... I also really like some damsel only tanks.

:nope: I would not reccomend a dwarf lion in a 33.
it is possible.. but no.
And by the way.. if you do get a lion, dont get any fish small enough to fit in his mouth cause he will eat them.
Also watch your shrimp if you have any because lionfish love them!! :yes:

Zebra and Fuzzys only grow to around 7 inches while the fu manchu only gets 4 and they don't swim much, they should be fine in the 33. A mantis tank is another option.

..a small octopus. I havea buddy who raises them and they are great. 33gal is within the limit range but would be fine if given attention.
I am setting my 3 tank system up right now...just moved...and I will have a pair of octopi (just hatched) named Howard and Phillip or just Howard and a Peacock Mantis.
These guys are to find (mantis).

Is there gonna be a Lovecraft to compliment Howard and Phillip? I just got rid of my peacock mantis. He reminded me of the Mi-Go from the HPL story " The Whisperer in Darkness". Turned out he liked to club my tank walls. Didn't wanna take the chance. They are really cool creatures and very interactive. I would go with acrylic though, just to be safe. My matis is with a friend now and he has his own webcam....

Sounds like you have some nice tattoos. I got my mantis froma local fish nursery in the DC area but I don't think they ship and he was the biggest one they had seen. If you still want the link let me know.
