My lfs must not know much about saltwater fish because like i have said...they told me this was a dwarf lion and that it and the tang would be fine in my 55gal. They also told me I could have about 12 fish in it total. I just found this site and am glad I did. I don't know what to do with these fish now. I dont know anyone else who has a saltwater tank to give them to and I am sure the lfs wont take them back.
Have you asked? The lion will be ok for awhile. The lion is a situation of space. The Yellow tang will go nuts and decline in health because of it. They live in wide, open, waters. It is a lot like keeping a hyper dog in a tiny kennel. I know that you do not want to do that. Find another LFS in your area. Tell them that you have two healthy fish. They will probably give you store credit.
