What can this be?

Something appeared on my live rock yesterday and I don't know what it is. It's in an awkward place on the rock or I'd take a picture. It's pink, cylindrical shaped, has cilia like threads on it's top, sometimes it's extended, sometimes it's retracted, kinda reminds me of a pink smokestack with small fibers on the end .... anyone seen something like this?

I have one in my tank, comes out at night fully extended. I think it's a type of coral.
Not sure though.
