I like Chemi-Pure too and have used it for years. The "Elite" Chemi-Pure just adds ferric hydroxide to remove phosphates. While that's a good idea; (if you have a phosphate problem) the ferric hydroxide only lasts a few months, at most, while the regular Chemi-Pure will last 6 months. If I need a phos remover, I run it in a separate bag. The Elite is also more expensive.
