What Causes high calcium....?

I'm curious if there are any natural causes for the calcium to rise extremely high in my cube. My levels are as follows:
Nitrates 0
Nitrites 0
Ph 8.4
Ammonia 0
Temp 80
CALCIUM 1000
I recenly had a heat outbreak, and some die off followed. Lost a couple corals, but nothing that would effect the bioload all that much.
Is it possible that the head caused this? I'm sorta lost. Thanks!

Very low Alkalinity
Bad test kit
Bad salt
Bad water
The most common cause would be a bad test kit followed by bad water.

No, this is impossible... theres no way u can have 1000 calcium...you would have massive amounts of precipitation..(unless you just dumped awhole bottle of calcium) re-test and compare results with your lfs.. reliable and accurate test kits don't even give u that 1000 value..btw how's your alk??
