What causes polyps to dessapear

I had a good colony of those flower looking polyps growing but recently I have noticed a major decline in them but they did not detach they are just gone.
Is there anything in the tank that could be eating them? I noticed another colony on the other side of the tank that is desareaing too. Everything else in the tank is fine.

Hey girl!

Well a bunch of blue legged hermits, red leg hermits, snails, coral beauty angel, 2 blue damsels and one engineer goby.

HMMM...Have you ever seen your angel near them...maybe your got a coral hungry angel..LOL....Seriously...they do say be cautious with angels and corals....

Never seen him nibble on them and he has been housed with them for almost a year.
Could he start feasting after that long?

LOL...No telling ...I have "read" that sometimes they do....and then again....sometimes they don't...sorry

I'd say it's either the Coral Beauty Angelfish or water quality.

You could have a little zoa eating nudibranch in there, they are an uncommon hijacker.
