what color light temp is best

I need advise on what color temp would be best for a metal halide system?
M.H coming in my system are
1x 250
2x 150
Tank is 30" deep
I have a choice of 14,000k or 20,000k

Thanks Connor and Coral collector for the quick advise.
Now since you both love what your using.
Could I mix? Like the 2- 150's make them 14K
and the 250 make it 20K

I would go for the 2x150 14k. Youd have nice blueish white with a decent PAR rating.

You can mix them just fine in fact it would be awesome.

id go all 14k's but its your tank so its your call

14k, 20k is too blue IMO and 10K is a bit on the yellow side, it's really personal preference.

Thank you everyone for your imput.
I will make the 2-150's 14k and the 250-20k
I am hoping once I get the Halides going. things will become more vibrant.And I will notice new creatures i havn't before. I can now see some small greenish zoos?with orange centers
in like four locations on the LR. and some small feather dusters as well.
Did you ever see more animals appear once you went to halides?
