Tank (1.5 months old, levels are constant when I test):
90 Gallon
100lbs Figi Live Rock
3" Sand Substrate
2 175watt MH, 6 65watt PCs
Fish: Tang, Percula
Typical Clean Up Crew
No Fuge...Using Fluval 404
Tank turns over about 8X...will be adding another 300gph powerhead when I recieve a replacement part in the mail.
What corals are the best bets to add first? I'd like to get some corals that my Percula and future Goby's would like to enjoy. What do you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the greatest meassage board. I live in CT too. First off, don't rush it. I'd wait maybe a couple more weeks before adding anything. What's your nitrate level at?
Any of these will be ok to add as a beginner:
mushrooms
zoo's
star polyps
leathers
A couple recommendations, use fluval for carbon only, and setup small fug.

I agree. And it wouldn't hurt to get a skimmer as well. Good choice on your lighting, I think you would love it. I wish I could have MH as well.

Hi, a kenya tree coral would be good, and green star polyps is good also but keep them away from other rock because they will take over your rocks i know i have them there like weeds.

I have a protein skimmer...just haven't put it on yet. Was waiting for the tank to mature a little before I tossed it on there.
Thanks.
