What corals can I keep

I know now that I shouldn't have gotten this, but at the time my lfs said that i would be able to keep any coral with a coralife 4x65 watt pc's. What will I really be able to keep?, btw, I have a standard size 55 gallon tank

You will be able to keep soft corals such as zoos and mushrooms. And probably some of the easier lps corals.

You should be able to keep most softies and LPS corals. No SPS, clams or anemones though.

ok, since I want to be able to keep calms, sps, and an anemone, if i returned the coralife I would get t5s (mh isn't in the budget), would I be able to keep that stuff with a 6x54 t5, what about4x54, I wouldn't mind ifg I could only have that stuff near the top.

I'm doing the same switch on a 90 gal... I have researched some info. You can keep almost anything with 6x54 T5. The best for the $ IMO is the Nova Extreme Pro. It has individual reflectors (more light penetration). Good luck.

ok, I went to my lfs, they said that I couldn't return the lights, even though they weren't used. so now I have to sell them for like half what I paid. they also tried to convince me that per watt, t5 is less intense than pc (my lfs isn't very good, at all) also, sinced now I don't have as much money to get new lights, does anyone have any experience with 4x54 watt systems

for anyone who's still reading, I just ordered the current sunpod. 2x150 hqi and leds. I'm still getting over the price ($450), all I have is a summer job, but i already ordered it.
