What could have happened to my feather duster???

You might. The two reasons I have heard of feather dusters leaving. Is water not enough flow or there being pestered by a diffrent animal.

I had another duster throw it's crown in one piece, it is in a different ank than the first that left it's tube. I think I will get some phytoplankton and try that in both tanks. I do not want to lose anybody else.

So can you actually tell if they are still alive when they leave their tubes? Do they move around or do they just lay there? When mine threw its crown, it partially came out of its tube and was just hanging halfway out. I wasnt sure whether it was alive or dead.

Guess what I just found with a new crown???????????? :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I just left the tube in my tank and it was behind some rocks,(almost threw it out) :eek: and now over a week later, I see it peeking out with a new crown!!!! :hilarious :yes: I am so happy its still alive, thought that was the end of him
This hobby is full of surprises

Do't know why I am so happy about something that probably seems trivial to most (non salt freaks) Now if only my watchman goby who disappeared 2 weeks ago ( never saw him after acclaimating him to the tank :confused: ) would turn up alive, I will celebrate
