What did your tank get for Christmas???

spent $500 on mine......got a branching frogspawn, pulsing xenia frag attached to a 5# live rock, another tonga branch rock (nice big piece $80), temp probe for my chiller setup, couple pumps, auto top off swtich, new thermometer, new refractometer, freebie calendar (woohoo), 1 sally lightfoot, 1 emerald crab, new storage cabinet to put all this in, :scared: and the first week in the new year im getting a uv light (<---any suggestions on whats the best, are greatly appreciated).

Oh, and I forgot...
My daughter received a brand new 55 gallon tank that she's setting up with SW...she also received a heater, filter, lights, and filter media (I think) and some other stuff...it was a kit. She's really excited about starting this project, but she doesn't really intend on getting it off the ground until early spring. She does frequent this site...but I don't know what her username is :notsure: She's been studying and researching...she took 3 of my really good "getting started" books home with her...so I'm sure we'll all be hearing from her soon.
I can't wait to set up...help her set up her new SW tank :jumping:

EEEEEK :scared: Good luck with that. I hope you can get it under control. I (so far) havent had to deal with ich but ive only been in this for a few months so far. Ill cross my fingers.

I got some dry live rock 2 weeks ago, about 100 lbs for $50.00 and he give me 2 Orange Caps to go along with it, he wasn't sure if it would live or not, one is doing very well and the other one is coming back alive partially. Cleaned the protein skimmer, did a water change, a guy give me a prefilter box to go along with my aqua c remora protein skimmer(forgot to purchase that from the beginning). A friend also give me a Blue Millipora and getting a Pink Tipped Frogspawn tomrrow for $20.00, yea!!! Getting a LARGE Bubble Coral (6"-8") with double heads(which I could learn how to frag it since it has two heads), getting it at the frag swap this coming month for $20.00 Probably would trade in some of my frags of the Green Star Polyps for something else..... :happyfish
