What do brittle stars eat?

My green brittle stars comes BOLTING out from behind his rock to eat even flake food lol...
I have never tried spot feeding him.. maybe i will tonight..
I did see him one time eating a fish that had died.... but i took the fish out of the tank immediatly..
(i know the fish "died" and the brittle star didnt kill him because the fish was not well and i was basically waiting for it to die)
