What Do I Do

hey guys,
I just opened my jebo 305 w MH/PC fixture and I need to remove the cardbaord cushioning from around the power compacts, but it came with no directions... How do I get them open?

i think you have to take the PC light out of the fixture ( in only guessing, plus it would make a shure bet to be getting it of imo ) just hold the plastic part of the pc light and pull it out of the endcap ( dont hold the glass bulb itself, it may seperate from the end peice )

Has anyone noticed these lights to be extremely blue?!?!

do the reflectors still have the blue protectant over them ....???????
if so please take off. lol
i have done maintanance on many systems that still had the protectant on the reflectors ..
the owners asked is it supposed to burn like that ..

No i dont think so...at least it doesnt look like it...I'm thinking that maybe they slipped me a 20k bulb instead of 10k. Does anyone have pics of their tanks with this lighting setup?

I have pics of my tank all over this forum. These lights come with 20k all of them do and to get that crap off the pc lights you do have to take the fixture apart it sucks! There is a huge thread in the DIY forum on these lights just type in oddysea lights in the search

where is it located around the PC housing? Like on the bulb or reflector or what?
