yes you could, what do you have now in you tank?

Most likely you will need better lights. You may also want a skimmer. What kind of lighting & filtration do you have now?
A 20g would be considered a nano-tank which comes with some difficulties. You may want to review this sites nano section for some ideas.

that would depend on what it is you want to keep for coral.. sps id get a single 175w metal halide retro kit... for softies get vho or power compacts.. the vho and pcs are cheaper... plan on spending about 200 bucks for a good set of lights
