What do you all put in your sumps?

I would like to know what everyone has in there sumps that make your water quality clean and color of fish look great. I would like some suggestions so i know what to put in my sump. Thanks.

not to mention the filter pad as well and the protein skimmer and lr etc,etc,etc.
