What do you feed your anemone

I am seeing various differences on feeding them. SOme say silversides, others say they are not fish eaters and feed shrimp or cyclopis. I use the frozen cyclopeze in the squirt bottle but did not know about for the anemone. How would you do that?

I make my own fish food with a combination of many different things. I feed that to them and they seem to take and eat it without any hesitation. I thought one of my anemones was going to die once after it ate a silverside. I don't know if it was the silverside or not, but now I use my own mix for it and everyone else.

i have had over 20 anemones all my life so far, and until now the longest i have ever kept one alive was for a week, they always died, never found out why

i have been able to keep every kind of coral i had alive so far with no trouble, but anemones... are evil they shrink and die. there not my thing but i still love them. and i never got them to eat. they always threw up there food.

I have given mine part of silverside less head and tail. Maybe a few hours later it will like suckin and blow out the leftovers then my crabs take over. It is great to watch them. It has found a place in the crushed coral fust under a small ledge and seems to be doing good especially since I put in the powerhead and got some water movement.

I don't feed my carpet anemone and he's huge... I don't even want him in the tank anymore... I blame him for eating my little healthy blue hippo tang. It doesn't move or bother my corals... but I'd rather have it out of my tank and I'm not willing to kill it or have it die in someone's tank that can't handle it.
When he did use to move... he got tangled up in a power head and made a full recovery... even dropped a baby (I think) as he spit out this round ball but the shrimp took over and tore it up and ate it... I was gone for 6 months when that happened though just saw some pictures the wife took.
