Frozen bag of raw squid, raw shrimp, raw mussles (put in a blender for a few seconds)
Add 2-3 sheet of nori (cut into small pieces)
Frozen mysis shrimp.
Frozen blood worms.
Extreme garlic.
Put into bowl and mix, add RO water if needed.
Pour into small ice cube trays and freeze.
Our fish go nuts for this stuff.

Well it really depends on what fish you have.
For smaller fish you cant go wrong with cyclop-eeze.

also what do you think is better for the fish and the whole reef in general, frozen foods, pellets, flakes or freeze dried.

We feed -
Dry - Omega One Marine pellets (small) with garlic
Nutrifin Max - marine
Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Marine Pellet
Zoplan - zooplankton diet
Fozen - Brine shrimp
DT's oyster egg's
Home made concoction (actually discus delight) left over from breeding program
No all this never in one time. We like to vary the food offerings daily. The entire 210 gallon display tank get less than 1/8 tspn every other day. The rocks and sand bed have a good population of pods!

A good mixture, don't feed just one kind of food.
I use:
Formula 1 pellets
Formula 2 pellets
Bio-Blend pellets
Spectrum flakes
Frozen Mysis
Frozen Formula 1
Nori
Cyclop-eeze Wafers
DSV Spray Dried Phytoplankton
I also soak food in Garlic Guard every so often.

I alternate.

I probably feed more than most, but I don't keep any corals that need ultra clean water. The frozen stuff I do once a week, alternating between them.

Just posted in a clean up crew thread.

About 17 assorted hermits, and 27 assorted snails. I also have 1 emerald crab, 1 serpent star, 2 cowries, a pistol shrimp and 2 fire shrimp.

I guess I'm the only one who uses plain ole tetra marine granules. Basically pellets but I crush them up to a fine powder consistancy and fling it in front of a powerhead and let it shower the tank. Everything in the tank loves it from the button polyps to the lawnmower blenny to crustasceans to the common clownfish and damsel. The label reads nutritious enough. I feed zooplankton twice a week thats big enough that the clown/damsel and cleaner shrimp eat it as well as the corals. I squirt a few cc's of phytoplankton about once every week or two after the lights go out for for kicks.

once in a blue moon I'll clip a sheet of seaweed salad under a rock for change up
I dont know I guess if I had more exotic fish than just a damsel, clownfish and lawnmower blenny that doesn't really care as long as its green I'd mix it up alittle. They can always hunt some pods if they want fine cuisine.

Do you have lots of pods if you don't mind me asking?
