Just curious. because i save them into 2 5gallon container for rinsing new addition lr, equipment cleaning.
I also use them to kill unwanted plants, weeds in my yard as they are salty :D :D
I poured all my water last year to kill an ugly big tree in front of my house. the city wouldn't remove it unless it was dead

I plan to use my first batch of old water to destroy a wasp nest i have in the gravel behind my shed. My dad poured gasoline over it last summer but by the end of the summer they were starting to return a little bit, i think the salt water will really piss them off, might not make them bubble and burn like gas but worth a shot.

Hey Azonic,
Let us know if the salt water on the wasp nest works... My friend has a big africaned beehive out by his tree in the backyard. I'll let him do the pouring and running...

There's only one good way to kill wasps, hornets and yellow jackets take gas and throw it on em,
believe me I've had quite a few expereinces What I do with my saltwater is throw it down the drain.

corky-LMAO :D I too have watered my carpet many times. I use the python drain and fill thing to siphon water so it has got to go down the drain. At least till the sink clogs then it goes all over the bathroom counters, floors and then to my carpet again I really should not take smoke breaks while my tank is draining :D

The water only has roughly a 2.5% salt content (1.025). It isn't enough to do damage to pipes or the watershed (That's where the detergent from the washing machine ends up too). That's what my plumber said anyway.
With the wasp nest, try using the stuff made for killing them at night. It's safer and smarter than trying to outrun them and it works.

Great question! I've also wondered what others did with their water. Lately I've been dumping mine on a huge mess of vines the neighbor has growing over the fence into my lawn. They're not doing too well right now!

I drain off water from main tank to 5 gallon plastic buckets.
Then use this for final rinse when cleaning equipment, filters and such.
Then ..... down the drain.
Tip: Never throw rocks at a hornet's nest.
We did this once when we were kids.
Not a good outcome for us or the hornets.
As I recall .... just after doing this, as we ran home screaming, all of us stung with hornets still crawling around under our tee shirts, was when I first heard my Dad use the word ..... Duh !
