What do you guys have in with your seahorses?

Pipefish are harder to keep than seahorses..most refuse any prepared food.Careful with nassarius and crabs around seahorses.For sandbed clean-up I would recommend cerith snails instead.For algae get trochus or turbo snails. I would caution the addition of any serpent or brittle stars as well.Good luck with them.

Seriously, Has anyone mentioned pipefish? I've read they make good tank mates for sea horses.
well, no one has mentioned them, because unless you can locate some CB pipefish, then they really are nto good tankmates. See, if you don't buy a cb pipe (which is nearly impossible to find), then you could be bringing in some of the diseases from the wild that only syngnathids get, along with the pipes.

i've had my seahorses for 6 months now and they were in a 125, but now they're in a 150 and they're doing great with what i have them in with. queen angel, bangaii cardinals, maroon clowns, cherub angel and a bunch of hermits and stuff like that.

How does the feeding go with the other fish? What is your feeding plan?

i spot feed, course it helps that my seahorses wrap their tails on my hand to feed. no one in the tank even gives them a second thought.
