What do you guys think my tank needs?

Here is my website with my tank on it.....what you some of you guys and gals think I need.....I am running out of ideas myself!.....it looks alittle diff right now but he rock stucture is pretty much the same!

the tanks look great!!! I really think that the green polyps are really bright. What lighting do you have? Maybe you could add some stney corals?

Well thanks ......I have a 175 watt 10000K MH all hamilton....and two 65 watt ultra actinic PCs. A total of 305 watts on a 36g tank to give me about 8.5watts/gal!! The star polyps have grown alot I mean alot since that pic...now have two large colonies....very cool.....I hope to have new pics up soon! Thanks for comments......and yeah I would like to have an Acupora..(SP)......but I don't know about lighting.....

I personally would stay away from acropora and montiporas weith that lighting, but many have had sucess with them under less light. So it's really up to you.
I like brains. Favia's, lobo's, open and pineapple are just a few. They are great looking and would do well in your set up.

So Predator are you saying that acro's take more than 8.5watts/gal......I mean I don't really know..I have never studied that much on the lighing for these I know the require high intensity lighting and high calcium levels....but other than that I don't know....i mean is 8.5watts/gal not enough for acro's? Anyone else know about this subject?

i have Acros and mono's growing under VHO's so you canhave them in you tank with no problem. they may not grow quite as fast , but with a 175 watt MH you should be fine.
Pred, question? if you can not keep them with a 175 MH and 2 PC actinics backing it up what would you suggest keeping them under?

I know what this tank needs, a new owner. Just send it over, a tank like that must consume a lot of your time and I wouldn't want you to carry such a burdon. Imagine the free time you could have if It were at my house. HAHA :) :D :p ;)

the watt's per gal rule is a misnomer. i have a purple tip acro that is doing fine and around 10 different moniporia everything from digitata to a capricornous (SP). since you asked i have aroud 5 WPG, but like i said it is not a good rule to live by.
just so you know ii am getting rid of 2 of my VHO and putting in 3 400 watt MH.
back to the original thought. it is possible for you to keep stoney corals in there, just nake sure your water parimeters are great. those guys need really good water conditions.

Cool thanks Von......I am still thinking on what I should do with the stoney coral (SPS) deal! I want one bad but I don't know what I should do right now I don't want to rush it....BTW thanks for the complements guys! :D

Just kidding. Tank looks great! Go acro crazy...I will try to get some frags for you and wamp next time I come visit. If I frag them now, they won't be frags by then.
