I have a 10k 150W MH and 2 96W actinics. My tank is pretty much pure white; yellowish without the actinics. When I get the money I might get a different bulb for my MH to add a bit more blue.

i use 3x400 mh 20 k
I love the way they make a coral. still very very bright. makes corals look there best IMO
it does slow the growth of all my sps but the better look if worth the slightly longer wait.
it is not nearly as blue as some people think it is.

i have 2 250 watt 15k bulbs on my 65 reef and i like it so much.

not to much blue, and not to much yellow.

i got sent the 10k and hated it so much, the whole tank was all a nasty yellow color, but then again i am not using actinics.

i would go with the 15k :cheer:

I have run both 10k & 20k MH's and I prefer the 20k's. I have been running MH 20k radiums for about a year and a half now. Like mentioned above, they are nowhere near as blue as most people think they are. They appear to be bright white by just looling at the tank. The only time they look blue is when you try to photograph the tank. Then they look very blue. Good luck.

i am running 2 250W 20K DE HQI bulbs with 200W of 10K PC and i like the look it gives...
escapes right they look great nice crisp white/blue in person but cameras have a hard time with the lights casting a very blue tone in the pics its tricky at times to get good pics but u still can

I just bought 2-400w 20k's and i love the look of them, they give off a blue tint but it isn't an over powering blue.

In my opinion the best balance of intensity and color is the Pheonix 14K. It's PAR is as high as say an Ushio or BLV 10K but has a nice hint of blue. The problem with any of the other bulbs higher than 10K is they have low intensity. The Pheonix bulbs are very reasonably priced as well.

I use 250 watt EVC 14K's, and for the price, I think they're great.
Good growth; not to blue, not to white. I guess it really depends on personal preference, though.
