What do you look for in Live Rock?

What do you look for when you buy live rock? Shape, texture, coralline, price…what?

For me, price is a major factor... the stuff is pretty pricey at lfs near me. But once I decided to bight the bullet, I look at size, shape, and texture (all for aesthetic reasons). I also want rock with good coraline algae established on it. I also look for random growths... algaes, feather dusters, unidentifieds, etc.

Hey,
Since I have an established reef tank, the first thing I want to know is if it's cured. (I ask how long it been in their tank.) THEN, I look for specific shapes and what's growing on it.
