Tasty only when young, to avoid ciguatera....

Oh, yea, definitely not sustainable for ANYONE'S
tank. Most public aquariums also avoid this species...
Because no one can really house a 6 foot missile that is known as a Barracuda....
OMG arent they the most tastiest fish in the world!?!?!?!????
me and my dad went fishing with a group of peps and we filled the boat. freshly caught barracuda is amazing, the best fish i ever had and will ever have. it beats halibut, and salmon.
OMG I WANT SOME KNOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Yep, mutual family friend in Marathon we always go once a year. Cuda and Snapper from the mangroves mostly. From the cooler to the grill same day
If I had to pick the best ever, same day caught Wahoo is up there. Pompano Balls too. Pompano diced into cubes/strips, egg wash -> potato flakes -> hot sauce, then fried in butter on the pan

My Dad had a Condo at the Hawk's nest in Marathon, in fact, he passed away there.I lived in Islamorada for several years.right after college, barracuda was delicious and I could catch it in my front yard. But, don't ruin pompano with all that stuff. Its the world's best fish, just broil whole. BTW, you're right on the potato flakes, a great fish coating.
