I was just wondering what brand of salt everbody uses, and likes the best?
Or does one of the brands have more vit. in it? They all might be the same really don't know.
Thanks

I use instant ocean or reef crystals. They are both made by the same company and both work fine for me.

I've used Reef Crystals and Instant Ocean, I still use IO because its less expensive and has less phosphates in it.

I use Red Sea's salt, when I can find it, as it is the only sea salt I've found that does not register phosphates using my test kit.
BTW: IO and Reef Crystals, do register phosphates, despite what the pkg label says.

instant ocean from the get go.
lfs will sell me the IO in the bucket that mixes to 200 gals, for $39.00 bucks -
about 20 cents/gal ... not too bad I guess.

Used both I/O and Kent Marine. Noticed a difference when Kent Marine was used. Snails became more active after water change than with I/O. Also noticed more growth activity on LR. Not real sure if it's was the salt though. Could have just been the water change. But for now, I'm staying with Kent Marine.
