What do you think of my stocklist...

hi everyone, i've been planning a fish stocklist for my tank for a while now and i finally decided on the fish i want to keep. my tank is a 36 bowfront w/ a 20 gallon (15 gallons of water) sump. my total water volume is 50 gallons and my tank size is of course still 36 gallons. i have a pretty heavy list of fish i want and heres what they are:
-my current misbar clown
-2 firefish
-green clown goby
-flame hawk
-royal gramma
-sixline wrasse
-pygmy angel
its alot of fish (8 total) and im totally aware that this may be too much for my tank to handle...im gonna take it slowly and not accept anything other than pristine water conditions. im mainly concerned about three things:
-is this amount of fish ok (bio-load wise)?
-would the gramma and 6line harass my docile fish?
-are the fish gonna be crowded?
any input is welcome...i can never make up my mind on these sort of things and i really want to finalize my list so i can start adding the fish i want. thanks!

To keep the water in "nothing less then pristine" (your words), I don't think it's going to be practically possible, but only you could judge that.
On my list, the gramma and 6 line are only the 3rd and 4th most aggressive. I would definitely watch that Pygmy angel. They can be real monsters. And the flame, well it's a hawkfish...
Given a decent time span of a couple months, yes, I'd think you'll see the fish feeling crowded, and thus some aggression as a result.
Another thing to consider is taxing yourself. If you are all gung-ho about the tank now, and the only way to keep the tank decent, is 20gal WC's every other day, you might be okay with that now, but what about in 8 months? You could very easily burn yourself out (emotionally, at least) on this hobby if you're not careful. If you are up for a intensive SW project, so be it, but if you're undecided, why risk it?

thanks for the input...pristine was the wrong word to use since you are right, that is only the ocean that could keep water that way, lol. but suitable to where there are no nitrites ammonia and little/no nitrates.
anyways i see your point...i think i'll cut back to 6 fish to be on the safe side cause as a 15 year old that puts all of his money into this tank..it'd be devastating to lose it.
i think i'll have to debate a little on what fish wont fit in...
thanks again.

bump.
i just realized that i have 1/2 semi aggressive and 1/2 peaceful fish in my list...that wont work when it comes to feeding time...the firefish and goby will miss out.
i think i'll make two separate stocklists, peaceful and semi aggressive and then choose from there...once i can decide on what to add to each one.

sweet...maybe the sixline wont be a bad idea after all. its all luck that you get a nice one though i would think. ill add him last. the hawk and angel might be jerks to the little guys though.

Your hawk, wrasse, and angel are all high-energy fish. Id watch for signs of them being stressed. The tank may be able to handle the bioload, but think about the personalities of the fish too.

i will for sure

the reason i want a wrasse is cause its always on the move. i've taken into consideration the hawk as well and how it needs a min 30 gallon tank. as for the angel..im gonna go with pygmy cause they are only 3" and they would have alot more room to roam. their personalities and happiness are important to me
thats actually why i picked each of these guys out, for their personalities.

so i've made some changes:
i got rid of the sixline and gramma cause they seem too aggressive.
so now here's my new list...please tell me if you think there will be problems:
-my clownfish
-1 green and 1 yellow clown goby, added together, remain small 2" total
-flame hawk, added near last to help reduce aggression
-pygmy angel, added last to reduce aggression and needs established tank
-2 firefish, added as next fish
-McCosker's flasher wrasse, colorful and non aggressive unlike sixline
like i said before...these additions will happen very slowly so i can make sure that water params remain in check and fish seem healthy and happy. i will make sure NOT overstock the tank lol.
